Zentriscan provides technical consulting, 3D scanning, PC repair, and related services on an “as-is, as-available” basis. The following terms limit our liability and clarify the scope of our professional responsibilities.
1. No Professional Advice Guarantee
Zentriscan services do not constitute:
- Engineering certification or professional engineering advice
- Legal, medical, financial, or regulatory counsel
- Guaranteed outcomes or performance warranties
- Fitness for any specific purpose or application
All technical recommendations, scan data, CAD models, and repair services are provided for general informational purposes only. Clients assume full responsibility for verifying suitability and compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
2. Accuracy and Reliability Disclaimer
No warranty of accuracy or completeness. 3D scan data, CAD conversions, diagnostic reports, and repair assessments may contain:
- Measurement tolerances inherent to scanning equipment (±0.1mm typical)
- Interpretive assumptions based on available data
- Limitations of reverse engineering from physical objects
Clients must independently validate all deliverables against original specifications, industry standards, or engineering requirements.
3. Service Limitations
Zentriscan services are subject to:
- Equipment calibration drift and environmental factors
- Material reflectivity, surface finish, and geometry complexity
- Input data quality and completeness
- Client-provided specifications and tolerances
We cannot guarantee results for objects exceeding scanner specifications or requiring non-standard workflows.
4. Third-Party Components and Tools
Services may utilize:
- Third-party scanning hardware and software
- Industry-standard CAD platforms
- Diagnostic tools from PC/3D printer manufacturers
Zentriscan assumes no liability for defects, failures, or inaccuracies originating from third-party products or services.
5. No Liability for Client Actions
Zentriscan is not responsible for:
- Client modifications to delivered files, models, or repairs
- Downstream manufacturing or fabrication errors
- Product failures resulting from improper use or installation
- Business losses, lost profits, or consequential damages
6. Repair Services Disclaimer
PC and 3D printer repairs carry inherent risks:
- Hardware damage during disassembly
- Component compatibility issues
- Data loss during diagnostic procedures
- No warranty beyond completed repair work
Backup your data before repair submission. Zentriscan assumes no liability for data loss.
7. Scan Data Limitations
3D scanning produces digital approximations, not exact replicas:
- Surface reconstruction algorithms introduce interpolation
- Occluded or reflective areas may lack data
- File formats have inherent precision limitations
Always verify scan data against physical measurements before fabrication or manufacturing.
8. Force Majeure
Zentriscan is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including equipment failure, supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, or client-provided material defects.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zentriscan’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service causing the claim.
In no event shall Zentriscan be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, production downtime, or business interruption.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Zentriscan harmless from claims arising from your use of our services, deliverables, or recommendations, including third-party claims related to manufactured products or downstream applications.
11. Governing Law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, Galveston County, and incorporated into Zentriscan’s Terms of Service. Disputes subject to mandatory binding arbitration.
12. Acceptance
